Type Locality and Naming

Hubei - NW. Hongta, south of Fangxian County, Hubei Province. Named by Lei Yizhen, Guan Shaozeng, Zhang Qingru, Sun Quanying, 1987, Biostratigraphy of the Yangtze Gorges Area.

Brownish red huge conglomerate, breccia, with interbeds of sandstone, muddy sandstone and sandy mudstone
